Hello Dolls!

I'm up a little early this morning because I have to work this afternoon. My cohort's child is sick and she is working a half-day. SO I wanted to get up early and get a few things accomplished before I head out the door today. Not much going on around these parts lately other than this little TV show setting up shop about 20 minutes away from where I live!!!

And I feel like a total goob for not volunteering because EVERYONE on my Facebook NewsFeed keeps updating their statuses about how awesome it was to volunteer!  It would be such an amazing thing to say that I was a part of. Oh well. The house is looking fantastic and the news coverage has been neverending on it. I can't wait to watch the show when it airs in April or May!

Brennan and I started the weekend out with attending a little Valentine's Day party playdate. It was so fun to let the kids play while some mommies can socialize! We had a good Valentine's Day with our little family. We didn't do anything really because I was sick. More on that later, but here are the little cards/treats I made for everyone...

{ A gift for Brennan's teacher at school. Mailbox came from the Dollar Spot at Target and I filled it with Dove chocolates. YUM! }

{ Some little Valentine's Day cards! }

{ Some for Brennan's guy friends. }

{ And some for Brennan's girl friends! I changed up the wording on this one and the previous one for all the grandparents. }

{ For my SWEET little students. }

And we had our class party Monday afternoon. Can you say CRAZY!?! It was fun but the kids are way more excited about the Valentine's Day party than the Christmas party. They were WILD! We decorated cookies and consumed enough sugar to last a lifetime. They had a blast!

I haven't uploaded the picture of Brennan with his little gifts but will soon. I received a Mommy and Child Willow Tree Figurine from Brennan. He's so thoughtful. :) It's way precious and he was so excited about looking at it with me. He had to check all of them that I have collected out too. I also received a gift certificate for a pedicure. I can't wait to use this! It's been so warm here lately and I've been donning my sandals and flops this week. I can not wait for spring. Especially since we are out of snow days. Say NO to SNOW!!!

Brad and I celebrated V-Day over the weekend with dinner and the movie Just Go With It (Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston). It was soooooo cute and funny. I highly recommend it!

This weekend our plans involve... a birthday party for a sweet 3-year old and a Mickey Mouse Magic Show!!! Brennan probably is too young for this but my dad gets free tickets to lots of events so we thought we would try it! Have a great weekend!
