county fair

Saturday we (my friend and I) hosted a yard sale it was a great success! We made close to $300!!! So in my book it was a success considering it was stuff we were going to haul off somewhere. I'm a little bummed because Brad's aunt and uncle called me the other day and had stuff to put in the yard sale too but I didn't make it to the phone and forgot to call them back. :( But I kept the clothing, shoes, and bags that didn't sell and plan to have maybe another one on a non-busy weekend in October. (Yeah, right! A non-busy weekend doesn't exist!) Much of Friday and Saturday was spent doing yard sale stuff. We just hung out at home last night watching a few movies and TV shows we have recorded on our DVR.

Today we went to church, and then headed out to the County Fair. It was lots of fun!

But the most fun thing was riding the school bus! Bren and his buddy Weston LOVED it!

There was goooooood carnival-type food, a petting zoo, and a little tractor ride.

Brennan is OBSESSED with trains right now! Maybe he'll get one for his upcoming birthday!

We got home around 3:00. Bren fell asleep in the car and then napped more when we got home. Brad and I ended up napping too and accidentally over slept and missed small group. I hate that we missed it because I love going to it.
I woke up Friday with a scratchy throat and it's not stopped since. Ugh!!! I hate Fall allergies!!! But I'm loving this cooler weather, pumpkins, mums, and changing leaves. So it's worth it.

Happy to have a short week this week. After last week I'll be glad for a little down-time with my kiddo!
