You are 5 months old! I can't believe it!!! Unfortunately you made your first trip to the hospital this month. You had croup and sounded and felt terrible. It started out one morning when you would cough a little and Mommy knew it sounded a little like it. You got worse as the day went on and I finally decided to call the doctor. The nurse told me some things to try. Around 9:00 pm you were running a fever so we went straight to the hospital. We didn't go the ER but the Care Clinic. It was not busy at all and we were in and out in no time. The doc said everything looked clear (ears and nose) but your throat was indeed red and swollen. They gave you a steroid and that helped. You slept all night until about 5 am and then you were in some pain. We did a bottle, gas drops, changed your diaper, orajel, and finally some Tylenol. You FINALLY went back to sleep and slept until 7ish and then you were fussing again and we put you in the bed with us. We ALL slept until about 9:30.
Can I just say that you are everywhere! You roll all over the place. You love to kick your legs. They are constantly moving and you move all over the floor, crib, play gym. You are also very active and LOVE to play in your exersaucer in the morning time. We are working on sitting up by yourself and you've almost got it. A few more weeks of strengthening those back muscles and I think you'll have it.
You are also a DROOLING MACHINE. You have slobber all the time and you make spit bubbles constantly. You've already got two bottom teeth coming in. They've both broken through and Mommy can feel them.
