bits

1. We started our Christmas shopping tonight and I think we got some really good things for B and my nephews. Nowhere near finished but we're getting there!
2. We tried putting B in his crib last night and needless to say it did not go well. He cried most of the night and continued to spit up. We think he may have a little bit of reflux so we put the bouncer in the crib and he went right to sleep. He does not sleep as well laying down as he does sitting up even through the day.
3. I am officially obsessed with taking pictures of my son.
4. We are 100% decorated for Christmas. YAY! I heart Christmas decor.
5. I have given out about 1/2 of our thank you cards. MUST WORK ON THAT!
6. I am lovin' the store Charming Charlie.
7. I went to the doc today and got a semi-good bill of health. I have to go back next week for an ultrasound.

Addie had reflux pretty bad. We could NEVEr lay her on her back. Dr. Jung (actually) told me to put a fluffy pillow under her mattress on the side where her head is. It worked wonders! She was elevated like that till she was like 18 months old and we had to move to her to a toddler bed because she was climbing out! Also another thing Randa told me to do was put a fan in her room. That's how we got her to sleep in there! She always has taken her naps in there but when she started sleeping 10 to 12 hours at nite and we moved her to her room it was a nightmare for about 2 days. Randa said put a fan in there and she was FINE! She slept great! Good luck girl, babies are just trial and error. You'll figure it out soon :) Can't wait to see you and Brennan tomorrow!

Thanks Brandy! We went to Babies R Us to buy a crib wedge but they were sold out. B fights sleep like its nobody's business. He did EXCELLENT last night sleeping from 10:30-4:30 and then 5:00-7:30. I think he really just likes sleeping in his bouncer! Ha! Which is fine by me as long as he sleeps. Maybe I'll try the pillow thing now that I'm caught up on my sleep. :)

I've heard of alot of people using a bouncer in the crib for SEVERAL months! But girl I TOTALLY get WHATEVER WORKS!! I remember some nights when Ad was older and sick with crudy stuff and me and her sleeping in the recliner so she could breathe. it's funny how you can adjust to WHATEVEr to get some sleep :)
