Random Thoughts

1. I have done massive amounts of laundry. Why? Because I have to work on today and tomorrow (standards training) and I have no clean undies! Probably TMI, but it is the truth. Besides laundry sometimes pays off. I found 3 quarters, 9 dimes, 2 nickels, and 10 pennies in the washing machine because my husband didn't empty his pockets. It is rather difficult trying to reach into the bottom of the washer when you're already short and then having a baby bump in your way.

2. The nursery furniture is together and in the nursery. Brad is picking up the chair and ottoman today from the furniture store. Now, all we have to do is decide on the paint, buy the paint and well, ya know, PAINT! I am hoping we will paint on Saturday. I do not want to disclose any of the colors or fabrics I have picked out, but I will give you a little teaser of what's to come in the nursery!

3. I am making Chicken Mac and Cheese tonight for dinner. Never made it before. Actually I'm kind of making it up as I go. I'll let ya know how it turns out.

4. I also have a doctor's appointment today.

5. I am so embarrassed with how bad my front yard looks. My flowerbeds (in front of the house and by the mailbox) are sooooooo badly overgrown with weeds. Some of my flowers have died. One tree in a pot has developed some kind of disease (I think it got spider mites) and died. My mailman hit my mailbox and it's hanging all cock-eyed now (he did offer to fix it). My mailbox post has bird poop all over it. My chair cushions are hideously faded. I am itching to get out there and clean it up, but it is WAY too hot right now. I thought about getting up early one morning and working, but I don't want to get sore when I have to sit in training for the next two days. So, Thursday is my goal. Hopefully.
