I feel like Tina Fey with that title. But seriously, what a weekend! I am zapped from everything we have done.
Let's start with Thursday. I had a 31 party at my home on Thursday evening. My awesome husband was so sweet to help me clean and get everything ready for this party. I had already sent out invites before I got sick and didn't feel like I could back out at the last minute. I mean, I am going to hurt regardless so might as well hurt and be around friends and family all at the same time.
Friday was work and doctor's appointment. It was raining that day so I came home and climbed in my bed and napped.
On Saturday, Brad and I went to breakfast that the CB and then to do Upward Basketball registration. At around noon, I went home and started on laundry. Brad went and helped Mike do something. I worked on my blog make-over! Later that evening, we went to the Crosslin's home for our monthly SS party. I can't tell you how exhausted and sore I am from not just my back but from laughing so much. It is soooooo good to be around funny, fun-loving Christian women talking about everything under the sun! I absolutely LOVE without a shadow of doubt my SS girls! I really need to start taking photographs of these get-togethers...
Sunday was church. Saturday night I was feeling a little nauseated. Sunday morning I woke up early feeling the same way. I went ahead and got ready for church. I leave twice during the service. The first time wasn't anything important, just a little restroom business. The second time, not so much. I got really, really, really sick to my stomach. I thought I was going to puke right there in the sanctuary. I went to the restroom and just prayed to God to ease my pain. To make it go away. I felt a little bit better and went back into church. After church, we went to my aunt Pam's house and ate lunch. It was so much fun to hang out with family. I LOVED watching all the little ones (Eli, Caleb, Caroline, and Ethan) running around playing. Well, not so much Eli and Caleb since they are still babies. I held Caleb for the longest time and played with him. He is so stinking cute. We just laughed and laughed. I held him later while he napped. So cute! I look forward to when (hopefully) Brad and I will have kids. We pray that this surgery will help with that. We feel we will make good parents if it is God's will.
My house is an absolute WRECK. There is stuff everywhere and the laundry is not finished. I haven't done my lesson plans and here I sit typing away. I need to get some things finished before church tonight. Sitting on the church pew this morning was a little uncomfortable, but I don't want to miss tonight. It is supposed to be a good service with our praise and worship band. Take care!
